On Sunday, 28th September, Choral Evensong resumes at its summer timeslot, beginning at 7:00 pm. Choral Evensong will not be held on Sunday, 21st September.
On Sunday, 21st September at 12:00, a civic service of Commemoration for the 100th Anniversary of the World War One Embarkation from New Zealand will be held in the Cathedral. In relation to this, Choral Evensong will not be held on this day.
On Sunday, 21st September at 07:00 pm, Southern Youth Choir will sing a WWI-themed concert, entitled 'We Will Remember Them'. The concert will feature works by Sixten, Oswin and Elgar et al. Tickets are priced at $10/$5.
‘Thinking Through The Scriptures’ is held every Wednesday at 4:00 pm in the Chapter Room of the Cathedral. Meet with the Dean to reflect on the lectionary readings for next Sunday; share news cuttings and your thoughts on issues of the moment. This is a session for all who care how the ‘Word’ connects and speaks to us and what we may bring to the sermons and intercessions on Sunday. Everyone is welcome. Bring your Bible.
